Nice to meet you, I’m Radjaminah.

My love for writing came from an unconventional place: the principal's office. I have fond memories of spending hours in the principal's office in the 1st grade, writing detailed stories about what I did that landed me in detention for the 3rd time that week. I remember our disciplinary officer telling me I was her favorite delinquent because my elaborate details and thought-out timeline revealed everything that went down in the classroom.

When I was 11 years old, I wrote my first story. It was about six children in a dystopian society. These children were aspiring storytellers, but they were also trained militia. In their world, books were banned, and they were preparing to go to war. The story is long gone now, buried under the trash of my church library. I had a time machine, I’d transport myself back to 2011 and force myself to keep it. That same year I wrote a paper about gendered female violence in the Middle East. Today, I consider myself to be a writer. I love writing listicles, reviews, short stories, screenplays, and poetry.

I grew up in Massachusetts, close enough to Boston where I could end up in less than an hour but far enough away for anyone from Massachusetts to give me dirty looks for suggesting I'm from there. I graduated from Ithaca College where I studied Writing for Film, TV, and Emerging Media and women and gender studies.

I’m currently searching for roles in creative advertising, content writing, copywriting, and digital marketing.

This is my portfolio site. Feel free to check out some of my works throughout this site and on my Linktree.
